How to reheat whole smoked turkeys and hams


Okay, I’ve smoked alot of hams and turkeys for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter parties over the years,

As I often had to cook them 36 hours in advance, I thought it might be a good idea to offer some tips on how to reheat these beauties, while still keeping them nice and moist.

    What temp do you cook these to for the first cook. 160?

    • Well, I do them in the smoker and, as they’re already cooked, I don’t worry too much about the temp. I’d guess between 140-160. Mainly I’m just keeping some smoke on them for about 3 hours.
