I always take 2 lawn chairs a canopy and some kind of crime scene barrier tape or danger open pit barrier tape , to keep children under control ( do not omit them ) Help them to see the operation safely. I know this because my grandson is a 12 year old foodie. He helps me.
Music,,, always have some music that doesn’t compete with the Party music or DJ
A large cooler (not small) for plenty of water and B_ _ R. or whatever. Italian sausage for snacks, Plus !! a Pineapple on the spit w cinnimon/sugar for dessert, My pig and appertif/dessert got a round of applause,

Awesome! Thanks Tom…I’ll make sure that several of those get adding. The caution tape is a GREAT idea, I can’t believe I never thought of that…we have kids at our roasts all the time!
