So, with much groaning and contented sighs, we left Poke Stop and headed for our next destination, the Dole Plantation. I was pretty excited about this stop, as Dane has been talking about how awesome the signature treat of the plantation, the Dole Whip, was, for months.

What we tried: A lot of stuff

What I liked best: Furikake Salmon Pokē, Kahlua Pork Wontons

Stop two was a place I’d been jonesing to try every since I watched Guy Fieri (a hero of mine) hit it on his Hawaii episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Chef Elmer Guzman operates a small but efficient kitchen that delivers the freshest, tastiest and most delectable Hawaiian Seafood dishes. Poke Stop offers a very nice selection of Poke, Sashimi/Sushi platters, hot dishes and Bentos to go.

Oahu Food Crawl Pt.1 – Leonard’s Hawaii

Recently, Vic and I were blessed to be invited by some (really cool) friends of ours, Dane & Michelle Shores, to spend a week with them in Hawaii, both on Oahu and Kauai.

While on Oahu, Dane (a fellow foodie) organized a food crawl around the island, hitting some of his favorite, and most famous, nosh spots.
